Research groups
Several research groups work at the Department, covering different areas of computer science and its applications. Each group has its own page describing its work, with links to its website.
- Automated reasoning The Automated Reasoning Group (ARGO) conducts research in automated and interactive theorem proving, both in pure mathematics and in the formal verification of algorithms and software.
- Bioinformatics The Bioinformatics Group conducts research on the development and application of computational methods in biology, medicine, and related fields.
- Data mining The group conducts research on data mining methods and their application to predictive modeling and the discovery of patterns in data.
- Language technologies The Language Technologies Group develops and maintains resources and tools for processing the Serbian language.
- Mathematical optimization The group conducts research in the field of artificial intelligence, with a focus on the theory, applications, and development of computational intelligence and mathematical optimization.
- Machine learning The Machine Learning Group focuses on the development of machine learning models and algorithms and their practical applications.
- Modeling and optimization Researchers in this group work on mathematical modeling and solving complex optimization problems, as well as on mathematical modeling of the behavior and improvement of various metaheuristic optimization methods.
